Beyond Point Solutions: AI and the Future of Legal Platforms

Legal teams today are operating in an environment defined by explosive data growth, rising cost pressures, and increasingly fragmented technology stacks. While point solutions have delivered incremental gains, they have also introduced complexity, inefficiency, and risk. A new model is emerging. One that brings data, AI, and infrastructure together into integrated platforms that extend beyond traditional ediscovery and support the full lifecycle of complex legal matters.

In this session, Raj Chandrasekar (CTO) and Mitchell Scott (Principal Data Scientist) will explore what this shift means in practice. The discussion will introduce Aurora, Consilio’s AI-driven legal platform, as it expands into APAC, and examine how integrated platforms are reshaping data-intensive legal workflows—from large-scale AI review and investigations to privilege detection, PII handling, and emerging agentic workflows. The session will focus not just on technology, but on what legal leaders should be considering as they evolve toward more scalable, defensible, and future-ready operating models.

3 Key Learnings

  1. Legal teams will understand how fragmented tools are driving cost, complexity and risk — and why a more integrated, platform-led approach is becoming necessary.
  2. A clear view of how data, AI and infrastructure come together to support real legal workflows — from large-scale review and investigations to privilege and PII handling.
  3. Practical considerations for legal leaders looking to future-proof their function — including governance, data control, and the role of AI in driving efficiency and better outcomes.
