About Joe
Joe Rayment is the Founder and CEO of Cicero, the mater analysis platform. He leads strategy, product and commercial execution, bringing a rare combination of legal workflow insight and large-scale systems delivery experience. Joe's path into legal technology began as a paralegal, where he saw firsthand how litigation outcomes were shaped less by the strength of an argument and more by the size of a firm's resources. That experience became the foundation for Cicero - built on the belief that the quality of evidence should matter more than the depth of a client's pockets.
Before founding Cicero, Joe pivoted into enterprise IT at ETHAN Global, where he led digital transformation and enterprise architecture initiatives at a ~$200m organisation, and product managed $5m+ enterprise software programs. This background gave him a deep understanding of how to deliver complex technology at scale - something he now applies to making deterministic, large-scale litigation analysis accessible to legal teams of all sizes. Joe is passionate about levelling the playing field in litigation through technology that is reliable, court-accepted and built for the way lawyers actually work.
